Riley's Story...
We first met Riley in the parking lot of Memphis Animal Services(our local pound). She was only 3 lbs and 5 weeks old and was there with a woman who bought her from someone on the side of the road earlier that week. She didn't have the means to care for such a young puppy but we fell in love with little Riley and told her mom we would take care of her so she wouldn't have to surrender her to the pound. Riley is now about 10 weeks. She is full of personality and very playful.
Riley is not sure what she wants to be when she grows up, but she’s thinking she will be medium shepherd mix. She lives with two foster siblings – Bozzie and Chloe and has a wonderful foster family who is teaching her puppy manners and all she needs to know to be ready for a forever family.

Riley's adoption fee is $500 and includes her spay surgery, microchip, all up to date vaccinations, deworming and heart worm preventative. It also covers the cost of her health certificate and transportation from her foster home in Memphis to your area upon adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Greenfield German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Greenfield, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Greenfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
