Cassie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Cassie's Story...
This gorgeous little girl is Cassie. She is a grey Maine Coon mix, just over a year old and front paw declawed. She is definitely a love hog and won't share her person. Therefore, it is best if she is the only cat in the house.

She was rescued when her owner posted her availability in a virtual garage sale posting. Cassie was having problems adjusting to the new baby in the house.

She has come a long way during her time in foster care. She asks for attention, loves to be held and snuggles right in.

Cassie loves her cat dancer toy, her treats and melts into all the loving you can spare 24/7! She is light as a feather, has a silky, shiny coat, and is sweet as pie.

Cassie is completely vetted; up to date on all her shots, and available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassie, a Chicago Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
