Freckles's Story...
My name is Freckles!
I am a cattle dog/pointer mix.
I am about a year and a half and I weigh about 65 lbs.

I am very cautious when it comes to new people and I need someone willing to understand that. I have had little to no socialization outside of Camp Bow Wow so it takes me a few days to warm up. Once I warm up to you we can be best friends for life.

I have been a Camp Bow Wow camper since I was 4 months old and my previous family had to give me up due to unfortunate circumstances. I have a big heart but I am the type of dog to just want to be around my family. I would do well in a household with older children who can comprehend my shy personality and are willing to let me make the first moves. I had 2 cats in my previous home and I got along with them really well!

I am spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations and my adoption fee is $250, which comes with a 2-week trial period. If you would like to meet me please contact No Hound Unhomed at 719-244-2208 or come meet me at Camp Bow Wow Colorado Springs Central.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freckles, a Colorado Springs Cattle Dog/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Pointer for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Pointer dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Pointer breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
