Mazie is a 2 yr old Golden Retriever mix. She weighs around 50lbs, is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and housebroken. Mazie spent her puppy years, roaming freely out in the country. She had humans who claimed her as their pet, but other than dumping food out for her they did nothing more to provide for her care. Ironically, they moved away and left Mazie behind. Thankfully she is heartworm negative. Mazie is one smart cookie, who is eager to please her humans. She gets along well with other dogs, her own age. She is not good with livestock or cats. Mazie is FULL of energy and needs to be kept busy and the chance to burn off her energy. She LOVES to play with balls, toys, sticks, other dogs, etc. Mazie will make some family very happy!
APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED ADOPTION FEE $250
BLUEGRASS SENIOR DOG RESCUE ONLY FOSTERS/ADOPTS DOGS THAT ARE FULLY VACCINATED INCLUDING RABIES AND BORDATELLA AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED. ALL ANIMALS ARE MICROCHIPPED WITH PET LINK AND THE RESCUE PAYS THE REGISTRATION FEE. WITH PET LINK THERE IS NO ANNUAL RENEWAL FEE.
Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or long term basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the dog while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
