My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blackie was saved on his last day from a high shelter. He was unfortunately a stray that was never claimed. He is a great dog! We think he's a Cattle Dog mixed with Black Lab (could also be another type of Shepherd). He is about 3-4 years old and a perfect medium size at 52lbs. He is a health boy and very smart, he loves to hike and go on adventures but settles well in the home.

He does not really pay attention to other animals, so he would be fine with another dog or alone, he doesn't really play with dogs though he doesn't mind them. He is high energy when playing and laid back in the home. He could hike all day OR sit on the couch and watch movies with you, the best of both worlds. This sweet boy is ready to go to his new home. He does love to be snuggled and petted. He is learning to give kisses and also, he has the cutest ears. They are ADORABLE and so is he :) He was tested with children and is good with them, we don't know about cats but can test for an approved applicant. He knows the basics and is house/crate trained. An overall awesome companion.

Blackie is /neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, etc.
