Pistachio's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Pistachio's Story...
I am a five pound 3-5 year old female Chihuahua who is recovering from a non-contagious skin condition called Demodex. My treatment is complete and I have been spayed! It may be a little while before my hair comes back, but it's starting to! I wonder what color it will be?

I love going outside, but I also don't mind going indoors on potty mats- especially when it's cold (I'm naked). I'm good in a crate (but prefer to be in the room with you) and I'm good outside of a crate as well. I came from a house where there were 30 of us little dogs, plus a ton of cats as well. Because I had to scavenge and fight for food, I will eat everything you offer me. I love food!! And treats!!

I don't mind other dogs, and I even play around a little. Overall, I love humans the most. It doesn't matter to me if I live with dogs or not. Cats are okay, sometimes I get a little hyper and chase them a little. I don't mean any harm, though.

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email lldogrescue@yahoo.com for quickest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pistachio, a Shawnee Mission Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Shawnee Mission, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Shawnee Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shawnee Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shawnee Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shawnee Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
