Are you looking for a snuggle bug? Are you looking for someone to love you as much as you love them, maybe more? You have come to the right place. Hello! I’m Lenny. I’m a senior fella that is looking for a lap and a couch to cuddle on. Cuddling is my favorite activity for sure. Besides cuddling I also enjoy hanging out with other dogs like myself. I don’t mind cats either. I am such a good boy that I have free reign of the house even when my foster family isn’t home. I also go potty outside all of the time. I’m just that good. Since I am such a cuddler I really like to sleep in bed with my foster family. With the cold weather outside, snuggling under the covers is the best! I am a senior dog so I need some extra help getting in bed and up the stairs. I also get special treats daily for my arthritis. The humans call my treats non steroidal anti-inflammatory and glucosamine. I don’t let that slow me down though. I still like to play with my squeaky toys. Are you the snuggler I am looking for?
Lenny is estimated to be 13 years old and 10 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.
All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
