My story

"Hi, there! My name's PUNKIN, and I'm a two-year-old Border Collie mix who's mild-mannered, cheerful and affectionate. I love people, and I feel really good when I can be close to somebody. I like to go on walks and explore the play yard, then I'll come over and delicately roll over in hopes of getting a tummy rub. I love those belly rubs, as you can see in my photo. I'm just the right size to be a great house dog, and I'd be a beloved family pet in a home where the kids are older and considerate. I get along well with other dogs, too. The staff is fairly certain that I've already been house trained. Please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter and see what a sweetheart I am, then maybe you'll consider taking me home and loving me forever. I sometimes bark at people I don't know when I'm in my kennel, so don't be discouraged. I'm a pure doll out in the play yard. I hope to see you soon! Love, Punkin"
