My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Gloria! I'm a 2-year-old female Husky mix. I weigh around 35 pounds right now, but I'm a bit underweight. I'm working on fixing that by eating all of my meals. I'm as sweet and gentle as they come, with a nice calm temperament. My friends tell me I'm beautiful - do you agree?

I get along really well with everyone I meet - humans and canines alike. I get so excited to meet new people that I have a habit of jumping up to say hello. You just have to remind me not to do that and I'll listen. I'm a really well-behaved pup!

Not much is known about my past, as I was once a stray wandering the streets of South Los Angeles. I arrived at the shelter with one of my doggy friends and she's here at CageFree, too. We're not a bonded pair though, so we can be adopted out separately. Even though I was in good company with my friend in the shelter, it was still a scary and chaotic place. I feel so fortunate that the volunteers there took notice and told CageFree about us. The kind folks at CageFree agreed to bring us to their facility and find us new homes. Yippee!

Now, I'm patiently waiting to find a new family to call my own. In the meantime, I'm making lots of great friends here at the rescue facility and everybody absolutely loves me.
