Izzy's Story...
A momma cat who's done raising her kittens, Izzy has lots of love to give.

A momma cat who is done raising her kittens, Izzy has lots of love to give. With her medium-long coat, Izzy is as beautiful as she is sweet and, in her foster family’s opinion, is the perfect cat. Izzy came to us when we were notified that she was caring for kittens in a shed behind a restaurant. Izzy knew she needed help, instinctively trusted us and has never looked back. Izzy was a great mother to her kittens and is still very close to Binx, with whom she is fostered. Izzy is a people kitty and loves human attention. She is flexible and will be happy to let you pet her, play with her or give her treats, as long as she is the center of attention. She is unsure of other animals and will do best in a forever home with her son Binx or as the only pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Kingston Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
