Griffin's Story...

They say dog is man’s best friend, but they’ve never met Griffin. Griffin is a big, loveable teddy bear of a cat. He’s more dog than cat, really – he loves to be with his people at all times, will happily follow you from room to room and likes nothing more than settling in for a big belly rub. A bit of a chatty guy, Griffin enjoys the simple things in life: playing with toys, scratching his scratch pad and watching the world go by outside. A super friendly and pretty relaxed dude, Griffin would definitely be fine living with another cat and likely would be fine with a dog. Fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, Griffin is ready for a family of his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griffin, a Kingston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
