Peanut's Story...

Peanut is a super friendly, handsome guy who came to us when he was found surviving on the streets in rough shape. Peanut craves human interaction and will follow his human everywhere. He is curious about everything and loves to be in on the action. He also loves his mellow time and watching the squirrles through the window. He is not shy to let his human know when he wants to be held for head scratches. Safe on the inside, Peanut loves to lounge around on comfy cushions and play with his toys. His foster home includes other cats and a friendly dog and he gets along with them all. He would be a perfect fit in a household with children and other pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Kingston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
