Shrina - updated bio 1/3/17

Shrina is a three-year-old mix - maybe cattle dog/black mouth cur - who had a rough start in life but has come through with flying colors and is ready for her forever home. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas and was helped to recover from heartworm and to have her puppies, who have already found their forever homes. Shrina can be shy around people until she knows them but doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. (I can take away a tasty fresh bone without her batting one of her pretty eyelashes.) She is a quiet girl inside with excellent manners and impeccable house training. But get her outside, and it is time to frolic! She might be shy with people, but she has never met another dog she didn’t like and want to play with. It’s hilarious to watch her try to talk my grumpy little rat terrier/chi mix into playing. She may convert him yet! She has a very gentle nature and mostly enjoys curling up on her soft cushion with a bone nearby just in case. She is smallish at about 30 lbs and has been an absolute delight to foster. If you have a dog who needs a companion or would like to make regular trips to the dog park part of your day, Shrina is a wonderful candidate.
She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all shots.
