Zeke's Story...
Name: Zeke
Age: 2/3 years old
Sex: male
Breed: heeler mix

Hey y’all!! My name is Zeke and a blue heeler mix that is roughly 2 years young!! You know what that means I have plenty of puppy years left in me.

I had professional training with an amazing trainer to help me work on my manners. My foster mom has me in a structured setting so that I can continue my training and learn to be a very good dog for my new forever home. I am crate trained, house trained, can sit, laydown and walk very good on a leash. I would do best in a fenced yard, so that I can run off the puppy in me. I also love to cuddle!

If you are wanting to add an amazing fun loving dude that just wants somewhere to run and a lap to cuddle on at night I am your man!! Just send an email to KTHRadoptions@gmail.com and they will get you an application!! My adoption fee is $250, I am microchipped, fixed and up to date on all my shots!! 411076-DS

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeke, a DeForest Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in DeForest, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in DeForest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in DeForest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a DeForest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in DeForest paves the way for another one to be saved.
