Woodrow(aka Woody) was rescued after he had been seen wandering in a rural area of Rutherford County, NC for weeks. He had a collar on but no tags, and no one spoke up/searched for him during the 2 weeks we advertised his plight. So, we can only assume that he was abandoned by his past owner...typical, for our area(NO shelter for adoptables, only a 'high-kill' Animal Control facility run by the local Sheriff's Dept).

This pup is in and will remain in foster care in Rutherford Co, NC until his adoption is approved. Transport to his fur-ever home will be via SAVE THEM ALL rescue pet transport, which drives from NC to as far as NH/VT & Albany & Syracuse, NY every Saturday(except New Yrs, July 4th and Christmas). Their fee is $100 to as far N as NYC/Long Island and $125 to points N of NYC/LI, to be paid to driver upon delivery.
Woody has BEAUTIFULLY clean teeth and a young spirit, so we(H4S and our vet) feel that he is right at 1yo.
Adoption fee: $175...He is neutered, micro-chipped, current on monthly heart worm, internal parasite and flea/tick prevention, comes with all medical records from day#1 with Howlin4Spirit(includes vet records), current health certificate, beef knee cap bone, Martingale collar & leash, plus 1 gallon bag of his current dry food(Tractor Supply Store's premium dry dog food='4health'-Salmon and Potato).
SWEET, FRIENDLY, AWESOME PERSONALITY and LOVES ALL SEXES..both human and k9!! Kid-friendly, walks well on-leash, crate-trained and appears to be housebroken! All around A1 companion!! LOVES to go for hikes with his people/person! Gets along great with other dogs, both young and old. Will retest with cats, upon request.
