Hi, my name’s FiFi! I’m a very sweet and loving 15 lb Shih Tzu who’s about 7 years old and still looking for my forever home.
My foster mom thinks I’m the perfect dog for someone who’s looking for an adorable and well behaved, calm but very social, non barking, house trained, cat, dog and kid friendly dog who loves to snuggle and go for walks. I really need my walks because I’ve lost my girlish figure and want to get it back. Please promise you’ll take me for at least 3 walks daily to help me do that.
While I get along just fine with other dogs, I do guard my food somewhat from them, so I would do best in a home without other dogs. I let humans give and take food and treats just fine, it’s other dogs that I’m protective about.
Being the only dog in a calm home would suit be just fine, because then I can have all the love and attention I deserve. I want to be there for you and you there for me, so I’m also looking for someone who spends more time at home than away from home. Or, if you’re going somewhere I can go, I LOVE car rides, so I’d gladly go with you and sit quietly as you drive!
Please don’t get me wrong, even though I love being with you, I’m not a needy dog. I’m not one of those dogs who follow you around from room to room or jump on your lap or your friend’s lap whenever you sit down. While I do like to lay on the sofa next to you and sleep with you at night, I wait to be invited to actually sit on your lap. Once invited, I’ll stay there as long as you’ll let me!
