Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Puppy Woods was born 9/22/16 in rescue. His momma arrived pregnant and only had two pups. We really have no idea what breeds he is. Momma looks to have Border Collie and Husky in her (without the undercoat) but she is only 30 lbs. We do believe her pups will be about 40-50lbs but it's really hard to determine.
Woods is a little lovebug and quite fearless. He weighs about 12 lbs at 11 weeks old (12/8/16). He is mostly white with black markings on his head. At this age, he is the typical puppy who likes to explore his surroundings, chew on things, play with other dogs or his people, snuggle and take lots of naps. He is crate-trained and is working on his house-training. His is very smart, already knows how to sit for his treats and is very food motivated (great for training!). He is very well socialized to other dogs and people. You can't help but fall in love with his friendly demeanor. He and his brother, River, are very similar in temperament!
If you are ready for a puppy and ALL that comes with it, please apply! We do require home visits to ensure your home is puppy proofed (it's really like having a new toddler). All family members must be in agreement to welcome a new furry family member. Raising a puppy is a team effort :-)
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at
https://dogsunlimited.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application-for-dogs-unlimited-rescue/
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
