Hi, everyone--my name is Blondie! My foster mom says that I am a love bug, and it's true. I really relish people's attention! I wake up happy, and I fall asleep with a smile. Not only am I healthy, smart, and active, but I am also a very loyal companion.
Some of my hobbies are playing ball, walking on a lead, and sniffing around the yard. My nose will lead me all over, which is why my foster mom insists that I have a fenced yard. Because I am extremely focused, Mom also says that I am a good candidate for field training. I calm down easily after a good walk. I behave myself when my foster family is away, and I have been given free rein of the house when I'm on my own. I enjoy my spa days at the groomers. My visits give me the chance to show off my sleek fieldie coat.
Because I tend to chase furry kittens, it would be best if my new household did not have cats. Also, I can be choosy about my canine friends. If there is another dog in the family, I would prefer it to be on the submissive side. Human kids in my Forever Family would be great, though! We could have lots of fun together, and more people in the house would also mean more choices of beds for me!
