My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walter is a handsome 10-year old Jack Russell who was found wandering the streets in Kendall County. Someone picked him up and took him to the local shelter. He had apparently been on his own for awhile. He was very hungry at first and it took some time before he realized that his food bowl would now be refilled each day and he didn’t need to consume the entire contents in one sitting. Walter had allergies which caused ocular (eye)discharge. Since there was no one to help him wipe his eyes, the hair under his eyes became stained. The vet cleared up his allergies and the staining will eventually clear up as well. All other vet work is done. He is very healthy and energetic!
At 13.6 lbs, Walter is a small burst of energy. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to run around investigating everything. He has a wonderful personality and temperament and enjoys cuddles and attention. If you have a home filled with yummy treats, this would make Walter very happy.
