Liza is a petite Malamute who could use a little more socializing. At 2 years of age, she's a bit shy although very loving at the same time. Playful with large male dogs, she would benefit from living with a confident fur-brother. Inside, every day noises, like a TV or vacuum cleaner make her stop, tilt her head and wonder - what is that? Food motivated, Liza is quickly learning basic obedience and is very smart. If you are interested in adopting Liza, please request an application from malrescuede@gmail.com Our adoption fee is $250 and our dogs are up to date on shots, heart worm negative and spayed/neutered.

About Alaskan Malamute Rescue of Delaware

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated volunteers saving the lives of Alaskan Malamutes. We pull Mals from shelters that euthanize, accept owner release Malamutes and help educate the public on the characteristics of Malamutes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are all volunteers. Our dogs are with fosters or in boarding kennels. Arrangements are made to meet them by appointment once your application has been processed and your home visit completed.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application which requires references, including a vet reference. If you rent, we require written permission from your Landlord allowing you to adopt a Malamute. Once we receive your application, it is processed and then we arrange a home visit. Upon completion, you are invited to meet the Mals. From you application we generally have a good idea of which dog suits you. Our adoption contract states that if something should happen, the dog is returned to us. Our adoption fee is $225 for an adult and higher for a puppy under one year. All of our Mals are healthy, up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative.
