Delta Major's Story...
Hi-My name is Delta Major. I am a 3.5-4 month old, possible Shepherd mix. The Vet really isn't sure of my breed. I weigh about 20 lbs. When I arrived at my foster's I was very skittish & scared of my own shadow (especially outside). I would shake terribly outside or when meeting new people. Right away though, I started to feel more comfortable & start exploring things on my own. With all my love & care & my other 5 fur friends (of all ages & sizes), I have gotten so much better! I can still (at times) get startled at any loud noises or sudden movements. I am super loving & very playful. My favorite things to do are play with my fur friends outside, or cuddle up with my human friends. I do tend to stay more attached to one person, as that is my comfort zone right now, but love everyone! I am super smart too! My potty training has been super great & my Foster Mom has never seen a puppy train this fast before! I also listen to my name very well. I am up to date on my shots & will need to be neutered. My adoption donation is $300. If you have any room for such an amazing pup, like myself, please fill out an application :-)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delta Major, a Homer Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Homer, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
