Facts about Goldie

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
I am a beautiful orange tabby about 7 yrs. old. The last few years of my life have been chaotic. I was given up by my owner after a new cat entered the house and we didn't get along. I don't like other cats and want to be the only cat in your life. I am somewhat of a 'diva' and need a family that is experienced with pets and will accept me on my own terms. I can be affectionate, giving kisses, but will let you know when I have had enough. I like to sit on the window sill and watch what is going on outside. I like to be brushed and petted and will rub up against you for attention and petting. I don't really like to be picked up, but will approach you. I am very playful and love to chase the laser and play with my catnip mice. I like to be in the same room with you and will sit by you when you are watching TV and sleep on the bed with you at night. I am very motivated by food and treats and will take the treats offered from your fingers. I just want a loving home to live out the rest of my days. Will you be the special person that finally gives me the security of the forever home that I have been searching for? Goldie is spayed, up to date on her shots and negative for FIV/Felv.
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at BCCC is an all-volunteer group. Please allow 72 hours to receive a reply to your application or inquiry.

About Billerica Cat Care Coalition

About Our Rescue Group...

The Billerica Cat Care Coalition, started in 2004 by concerned residents, is a cat rescue and adoption organization which assists feral (wild) and abandoned cats and their kittens. We are a 100% volunteer organization.

Our mission is to reduce the suffering and death of animals in our town by implementing the Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) Program for feral cats. We provide them with feeding programs, promote spay/neuter of all companion animals, educate the public on local animal issues, and offer advice/assistance to residents dealing with homeless cat situations or adopting out a pet cat that might otherwise go into a kill shelter situation.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization, meaning your donation is tax-deductible!
