My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Paxton (HWTH#16413A). He is a Terrier mix, DOB: 11/11/11. Paxton weighs approximately 25-30 pounds and stands 13 inches at the shoulders. He was abandoned in a house in the Antelope Valley and has been relinquished to Halfway to Home so he can find the loving home he deserves. Paxton is a little shy when meeting strangers but shows no signs of aggression. At present he appears to have a mellow personality but may be much more active when he feels safe and secure in his new Forever home. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship and structure should go a long way in helping Paxton settle into his new home. When Paxton is thoroughly comfortable in his new environment, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once he has bonded with his new owner, Paxton will be an appreciative canine companion. Paxton appears to be good with other dogs and is crate trained.
