Brownie's Story...
Brownie is ready for his forever home. He is only 18 months old and weighs 14 pounds. An athletic guy, he would do well in a family that loves to go on walks/hikes. He is affectionate and loves attention. Brownie is a terrier and as such wants to be the alpha dog so an owner with good dog management skills would be important. Brownie is a smart dog and ready to learn. He is great on a leash. He is house trained and has a medium energy in the home. If you would like to meet Brownie, please email, call or text Patti 503-309-8882.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a West Linn Australian Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Terrier for sale in West Linn, or seeking a Australian Terrier dog from a breeder in West Linn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Linn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Linn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Terrier breeders who help with Australian Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Linn paves the way for another one to be saved.
