Irene comes from a remote mountainous area. Her former owner abandoned her in the mountains without any human beings living around. She was rescued after her hind leg was caught in a animal trapped. The rescuer saw her and got her the medical attention she needed. Irene has since recovered and walking and running with the hind leg like a normal dog. Though she occasionally would lift her previous injured hind leg.

Irene is gentle and docile dog, she loves to be around with people. She is friendly and quiet, always wagging her tail. She is peaceful with other dogs and cats. she can be left alone in the house, she is also very mellow and very loyal, even when she is playing with other dogs in the dog park, she would always circle back to your side making sure everything is okay. She fits into new environments well. Irene is a great dog that deserves a responsible and loving home that she can love unconditionally.
