Wilber's Story...
Meet Handsome Wilber!

This dog has two personalities! He can be shy and a little nervous at times, but he can also be playful and LOVES to cuddle next to you. He plays well with the other dogs in his fosters home- he does not chase them, but he likes to sniff ad hang out wth them in the same space. He does like to play with humans! His favorite toys are anything he can chew, especially if it squeaks. He loves to run around outside as well as snuggle with his humans.

He is learning so much right now that it is lot to take in, and he can sometimes be a little nervous when his environment is busy. He is smart and wants to learn and please people. Wilber is crate trained, doing well with potty training, and is hoping that his forever family will find him this holiday season!

Could you be Wilber's forever family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilber, a Prior Lake Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Prior Lake, or seeking a Collie puppy from a breeder in Prior Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prior Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prior Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prior Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
