My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Henry is Adopted

Henry is currently fostered in Willowick Ohio, and his adoption fee/donation is $200.

Henry is an aporoxamitely 7 yr old male cocker spaniel.
He was found in Shaker Hts Ohio, he was wandering around, a stray, and was in horrible shape.
He had severely infected eyes and ears, and had a large growth on his ear.
He was in need of vet care badly. Which he was given immediately.

Henry is one of the most deserving dogs you will ever meet!!
He is so sweet, so docile, laid back and friendly, as close to perfect as he can get.
He loves children and other animals, he likes to play with toys, and hang out with his human family.
Henry is house-trained, and is crated during the day when his foster is at work.
This boy has turned out to be such a diamond in the rough!!
He looked and smelled so bad when he came to us from the streets, and now he is all cleaned, groomed, and has proven to be such an exceptional boy.

His needs when found were immense, he received surgery to remove the growth, and deep clean his ears, as well as a dental to clean up his teeth.
The tumor was biopsied and was cancerous.
It has been about a month since he had surgery, and there is no sign of re-growth of the tumor.
Our vet said if it grows back, we will then want to do an ablation to remove the canal, which would remove all the cells that could be cancerous.
They suggest waiting to see if it grows back first, and so far so good.
His adopters will need to monitor it for the rest of his life, and understand that it could come back and he may need further surgery down the road.

Henry is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.
