Meet Bailey a 10 week old Heeler mix puppy who came into our program with his brother Buster. They are currently being fostered in Huntsville Al and are ready to find their forever homes. Bailey is intelligent, medium energy puppy who likes to play outside but loves to cuddle on the couch together with his favorite person too. He is house broken, crate trained and learning to walk on the leash. He will be an ideal companion for a family with the kids and other dogs so he can play and get his daily exercise. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Huntsville Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
