My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Sage, a 3 year old Lab mix, my foster mommy is assuming that I am mixed with Hound, because of my facial features. I weigh 60 pounds, so I like to say that I am not too big, but I am not too small, I am just right. My previous owner died and the family could not care for me, so they surrendered me to the shelter. Thankfully, I was rescued and put in a foster home. Since I previously came from a home, it was fairly easy for me to adjust. I was nervous at first, especially after my stay at the shelter. Once I started to decompress, I started to fit right in. I get along with all of the dogs in my foster home. I am as sweet as can be and I would just love for someone to give me attention all day long. I enjoy sleeping on a bed, and I don't mean a dog bed, I like to sleep with my humans. But don't worry, I am not a bed hog, so we should sleep just fine together. I like to be with my doggy friends, but I am not really into the whole wrestling thing, I prefer to watch, preferably while I am being loved on. I am a very relaxed and laid back girl. I walk and run well on a leash. I am potty trained and crate trained. I know how to sit on command. I am gorgeous. I prefer to snack rather than stuff myself full so I will not make your doggy food bill extremely expensive. I don't have much interest in food which means I am not big on begging, I would rather wait for my treat when I go in my crate (even though I am smart enough to go in my crate without a treat). As you can tell, I am an awesome girl, and hopefully I have convinced you of that. If you would like more information about me, please contact my saviors at CARE!
