My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Berney is an 8-year-old male beagle/heeler mix weighing in at 25 pounds. He is house trained and crate trained, and like Ferney doesn't need to be crated. However, if there ever is a time Ferney or Berney need to go in a crate, their foster mom puts them in a crate together. He is good with cats and other dogs. He will keep your legs warm at night because he sleeps in bed under the covers! He loves to cuddle with his people or curl up in a ball on the couch for nap time. Unlike Ferney, Berney loves to sleep in. Since he is older, he can be a grumpy old man if you try to wake him too early. He will let you know when he needs to go out. He loves exploring and going on car rides. He would like a home with a warm (human) bed to sleep in and a nice and secure fence. Another dog would be ok, as long as he gets plenty of snuggle time.

Ferney is a 5-year-old female, 3 legged collie/terrier mix weighing 55 pounds. She is house trained and crate trained, although she never needs to be crated! Ferney will always let you know when she is ready to go outside! She is good with dogs and her foster mom thinks she would be ok with cats. She likes kids, too. Although Ferney only has 3 legs, she doesn't let that slow her down. She loves her toys, enjoys walks and loves going on car rides. She is a talkative girl and loves to beg for treats on her hind legs. Ferney would like a yard with a fenced in yard so she has somewhere to lay on sunny days. She would also prefer someone that is an early riser as she likes to get her morning potty break out of the way. She is always smiling and pretty much the happiest dog her foster mom has ever met!

We grew up together, were dumped together and found together. We would like to stay together, but we would be ok apart. Our adoption fee is sponsored to an approved home. If you would like to meet one or both of us, fill out an app today!
