My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chase came to us with a pretty bad skin condition that is now clearing up nicely. More pictures coming soon, this one included is his very first day with us.

He has a pretty moderate energy level unless you start playing crazy with him. He loves to be on the couch and cuddle but loves to play with the other dogs too. He is still learning boundaries and we have to stop him from playing too rough occasionally, but that is typical puppy-hood. We're not sure about cats yet but he is so young he can certainly be trained in that regard. He will be up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped and neutered before adoption.

He is small now due to age and the malnutrition but he will be gaining weight pretty fast now that he's getting the needed TLC. Because of that, we are not sure of his size at adulthood. Whatever size he is he will be darn cute!

Male
Age: 4 mos. old as of 12/29/16
Will be neutered, chipped and vaccinated at time of adoption
Too young for heart worms
In process of crate and house training
Great with kids
Gets along with other dogs
Not assessed with cats, see bio

If you think you have the time, effort and commitment for this little guy who had a very rough start in life, but who is ready to begin again, let us know and fill out an application to adopt.

Puppies need extra time that maybe some older dogs would not, so please consider your work schedule, family commitments and your own energy level...he would benefit from puppy obedience class, he definitely needs someone who can give him a routine and schedule to learn house training and patient family members who understand puppy traits ( like mouthing, chewing things and leash training needs).

If you are interested in adopting Chase, please go to our website to complete our adoption application and someone will get in touch with you.
