Wesley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Wesley's Story...
Wesley is super sweet, loves everyone, likes to play with other dogs and people, also likes to cuddle and lap sit. He is 6-8 years old, and in pretty good health. He was set to be killed at the Orange County shelter because he needed dental work. We rescued him, had a few teeth removed and he is good to go. Having his teeth removed has not slowed him down a bit, and he still eats soft and hard food with no problems. He has been looking for someone to love him -- please come meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wesley, a Newport Beach Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
