Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beauty is an approximately 3 year old, female, pit bull type dog. Cora loves her toys and enjoys gathering them up, carrying them around to different places, and then selecting a couple of them to destroy. She is very entertaining to watch! She also enjoys belly rubs and as you can see, she enjoys food. Although Cora has bonded with several shelter volunteers she is apprehensive about unfamiliar people and barks when she encounters strangers. Cora is receiving training to help her work through this issue but Cora’s adoption will be a special one because her adopters will need to be introduced to her a few times before really getting to know her. Taking the time to get to know this girl will be well worth the effort, as she is a loving, funny, gem of a dog. Cora’s adoption fee includes two free, in-home training sessions with a professional dog trainer and additional sessions will be offered at reduced cost. Cora is very strong and weighs about 70lbs so she will do best in a home without young children (age 12 and up) and with experienced dog owners.
