Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pegasus. The best description for him is HAPPY! Pegasus is a yellow lab, potentially purebred. He is about 2.5 years old and a slim 50 pounds. He has a slight limp due to a shorter right front leg, but this does not inhibit his activity or spirit! Multiple vets have examined him and believe this leg causes him no pain, and his Foster Mom concurs. Pegasus has a very bright appearance, as seen in his mouth, ears and eyes: he seems to be smiling! A good tail wag confirms his cheerful disposition.
Pegasus is incredibly sweet and friendly to people, kids, and dogs, and at his first foster home he even got along with the cats! He enjoys a good romp with other dogs - playing chase with one another. He is un-lab like in that he does not fetch toys or balls. He pulls a bit on a leash but will improve quickly with some training. Pegasus has a nice energy level, but does not require an enormous amount of exercise. He is always happy to curl up next to you and rest!
Pegasus is completely house trained and goes into a crate when his foster parents are out and at night, although he would be happier left on the couch or in your bed! He appears to be trustworthy in the home, so weaning him off of his crating should be easy. Come meet this amazing dog, who we named after a mythical flying horse because he really is magical.
Pegasus's adoption fee of $300 includes multiple vet exams, heartworm test, rabies vaccination, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, routine deworming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative, microchip and neuter.
