Heidi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Heidi's Story...
Heidi was a owner surrender due to no fault of her own. The owner had a baby and Heidi did not adjust well to this, therefore, she cannot be adopted to a family with children under 13. She loves walks, loves to run around the yard off leash. She never really leaves your side. Her previous owner used to play dress up with her and she loves to have her nails painted. She would bloom in a family that has another dog and that is active, loving to go on walks or for short trips in the car to run errands. She has seperation anxiety which causes her to pace and look out the window, but this is remedied with walks and her current medication of Prozac to which the vet has informed us, with the right home will not be needed. If you are interested in adopting Heidi, please contact Keturah at 570-390-9439 or email saintsrgreat6@gmail.com. We will require a home check and vet references. She is up to date on all shots, spayed and heartworm negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heidi, a Westminster St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Westminster, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
