My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet DELILAH. What an adorable 13 month old pup! She is a wirehaired/smooth combination, buff in color, and is beyond cute! Delilah has a calm demeanor and is well socialized and already knows commands for sit and wait. She fetches, cuddles, and loves being held like a baby. She likes car rides, but will jump out if you leave the window open. She needs work on potty training, and with a mistaken impression that food left on the coffee table is meant for her! She likes her own kennel as a safe space. Older kids OK, but no cats, please.

Delilah is all up to date on the medicals (rabies, bordetella, DHPP, Advantage, and spayed) and is looking particularly nice with recent grooming and pedicure. She comes with a new leash and collar set, toys and blanket, dog food and a free exam card for her next appointment with our Doxie vet at Best Friends Veterinary Medical Center.

Perhaps if you are not quite ready or able to adopt, you might be willing to help our rescues pass their time in rescue by donating toys and long lasting chew bones. Or, better yet, come and volunteer as one of our dog walkers. You will get to meet the dogs and make them ever so happy! Good exercise for you and for them!
