My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"The last thing I remember from my old life was being scared and confused as all of the cars were coming at me. The next thing I knew I was in the hospital waking up from surgery. They tell me I am very lucky, that a nice lady saw me get hit by a car and she brought me to Tyson’s Chance, and they are helping me get all the care I need. I had a lot of injuries including something called degloving that exposed bone, muscle and tendons in my right leg. My lungs also hurt because they were bruised. Everything was a so painful that I needed IV pain medication to help me be comfortable. I had to stay with the vet for quite a long time because of the severity of my wounds, which required daily bandage changes and laser therapy. And no one that I used to know came to get me, to see if I was all right. But that’s okay, because Tyson’s Chance is loving me and caring for me and I know they will make sure that my life is great from now on. I’m still healing, but that’s okay too, because I’m safe and loved, and I get great snacks! And when it’s time for me to be adopted, I know my new family will be just as great as my Tyson’s Chance family."

Our sweet Jane has come such a long way since she was hit by a car in September 2016. She has healed beautifully and is ready to find her forever family!
