Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet this handsome fella named Edwin! (This charming fella is now at the Cat Condos at Petsmart in New Bern. Visit him there today!) He came into the shelter Nov. 12, 2016 as a stray and was never reclaimed so he is now awaiting a FOREVER home. He is sharing a cat condo at the shelter with another cat...so he is cat friendly. He is around 1 year old and are current on his vaccinations and now neutered. Just happy boy who love to be rubbed on and will soak up all the TLC that one has to share. Seems like he will make someone or a family a wonderful cat. If you like solid black cats you must meet Edwin and see what a wonderful fella he truly is and adopt him into your home just in time for the holidays.
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep Adopt a Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too. Maybe you will have some time for snuggle and love on us while you're here. It makes the cats time here more enjoyable to get love & attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets honor the voucher 100%)...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
