Rosie's Story...
Sweet little Rosie is finally coming out of her shell. When she first came in she would stand in the doorway and watch everyone else play. We knew she wanted to come out with all the other dogs, she was just too afraid. Heck not anymore. She races out the door with the rest of the crew. Trying to be first to get the ball. She smiles all the time and now with all the exercise she's getting she's not so chubby. She is beautiful, shiny and We think we can see a waist. :)
Miss Rosie is a people person. She loves everyone and of course she wants us all to herself but she is learning to share.
She loves kids, big kids little kids, all kids. She would be a wonderful family dog and probably do a great job baby sitting. HaHa Rosie is about 18 months to 2 years old. She has been spayed, is up on all her vaccinations and she is micro chipped. Please call Lorrie 208 339 0130 or email kjfam@dcdi.net for an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Montpelier Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Montpelier, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Montpelier.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montpelier already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montpelier breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montpelier paves the way for another one to be saved.
