Butters is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH), female, 9 months of age (April 21, 2016).
Butters, much like her sister Lucky, is a people-oriented, extremely affectionate kitten. She purrs at the drop of a hat and loves attention. She’s playful too; if she’s not playing a game of hide-n-seek with her sister, she’s off chasing toys or any dust bunnies she can find.
When it’s time to settle down for a nap she likes to snuggle up with other cats or a warm, inviting lap. She won't turn down some petting or brushing time either, quickly showing her love and gratitude in loud purrs.
Butters is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a low-active lifestyle. She gets along well with other compatible cats, and she’s comfortable in the presence of well-mannered dogs.
As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats, a home visit will be required prior to adoption.
Butters currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Resale Store/The Fur Factory. You can meet her Tuesday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.
All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $75.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
