My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shirley Temple would be jealous of the curls if she got a look at this guy.
Adorable, good natured, loves to play with other dogs, gets along with cats and the list of accolades goes on about this wonderful dog.

So how did he ever end up in a rescue?

Well, the family bought the dog from a backyard breeder. Seeing Carter as a puppy, they were led to believe Carter would only grow to be 10 pounds. So they bought him. While they had him, they had Carter vetted and groomed but as the months rolled by and Carter got to be 15 pounds and then 20 pounds, the family realized this wasn't the type of dog they were looking for. So they asked for help to rehome him. Hearing his story, we couldn't have been more pleased to take him under our wings.

Carter is in foster care with a very playful guy named Champ and the cutest kitten named Smokey. Carter and Champ are true to the gender of boys and boys love to play. Lets just say when night comes, they both have a good night sleep after their day together.
A fenced in yard will be ideal for Carter because he loves to run and play outside too.

Carter is a 1 year old Poodle mix, 24 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, neutered and micro chipped.
