My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful girl is Aspen! An 8 week old Husky / Shepherd (?) mix who came to us from Modesto. Her mom wondered into someones yard, gave birth and decided to stay for the long haul. So, the pups were surrendered to rescue and mom will be spayed as part of our surrender agreement.

Aspen is a busy, playful girl who will thrive in an active, large dog savvy home who has time to devote to training and daily exercise. Some of her favorite activities include tug-o-war with her sister (Echo), snack time and of course some light snuggling between romps through the house. She currently shares her home with other dogs and a dog savvy kitty. She does well with all. Like most pups Aspens age she will require potty training and obedience courses to ensure she blossoms into a well adjusted, well mannered dog.

Aspen is being brought up to date on vaccines and will be spayed as part of her adoption. Because we are unsure of her exact mix and how large she will be as an adult we are asking that her adopters own their home and have a yard that will accommodate potty breaks and play time.
