Copper's Story...
The St. Tammany Six is a really sweet group of young dogs that love to be petted. They are estimated to be 5 months old. They have been spayed and neutered and fully vaccinated. We are working daily with them on their manners, social skills, and leash training. The 6 puppies are very smart dogs and eager to please. They get along well with other dogs. They would make great pets for older children. Due to their size and activity level, they may be too much for young, small children.

If you would like to meet one of the St. Tammany Six puppies, please go to our website, to complete an online adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Folsom Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Folsom, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Folsom.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Folsom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Folsom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Folsom paves the way for another one to be saved.
