Marley's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Marley's Story...
Marley came to us from Texas. She is professionally trained and has been in training for a while trying to work on her free play with other dogs. She does fine with other dogs on leash but due to a bad dog experience she struggles in free play. For that reason we feel that she would do best as the only dog. She is great on leash, non-reactive with other dogs during walks and is absolutely the sweetest most loving dog with all people. A fence is required for Marley. This will allow her to have free play without interruption from other dogs.

She loves to be with her person! She would be a wonderful support or service dog for an adopter willing to understand her need to be the only one! She adores snuggling with people! Don't let the only dog requirement be a limitation for her. Many people only are one dog households and she has so much love to give her person or family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Hagerstown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
