My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a dog to keep up with your active lifestyle come meet Pete! At 7 years old he has endless energy, loves to play ball all day (drops the ball at your feet and doesn't grab it out of your hand), go for walks and short runs. He would be excellent if you were interested in starting basic agility skills training. He wants to be your shadow dog. He is crate trained and knows all the basic commands. He still needs better leash skills perhaps with a gentle leader as he has a lot of strength to pull. Compared to many dogs he's not very skittish except in some new circumstances. This boy is so sweet and enjoys his snuggle time. He doesn't jump on furniture. He has some separation anxiety but usually settles down. He knows to be calm before being let out of the crate. He's learning stair etiquette slowly. He's good at taking treats but we believe he may have allergies to poultry food and may need to be on a diet without chicken. His tummy, eyes and skin seem to agree. He is soft with his mouth and can be fed without any issues. He doesn't lean towards any specific family member and gives love to all.
No small animals or cats! He's shown no signs of being a jumper in the back yard or eating plants.
He is neutered, microchipped, utd on vaccines, and potty trained. If you'd like to meet this awesome guy please fill out an adoption interest form on our website.
