Calypso's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Calypso's Story...
Calypso is a very small young cat with the sweetest temperment. She was found by a volunteer at a tire shop living with several feral cats but she was in no way feral herself. She was pregnant when found but delivered stillborn babies a few days after being rescued. She really needs a loving home to relax in and people to call her own. She loves to snuggle and is absolutely gorgeous.

BOGO (Buy one cat/kitten and get a 2nd one for free) Felines do better in pairs or even more than two. Some of our kitties are bonded pairs and will need to go together to their purrrfect home. Of course if you only want to adopt one then we also have kitties who can be adopted alone.

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calypso, a Jacksonville Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
