Dragon's Story...
Meet Dragon, a wonderful puppy looking for a responsible, loving and permanent home. Dragon came into the shelter as a stray with his brother so we have no background information on him. We do know that Dragon is super playful. He loves to chase after the ball and play tug of war. He will need to be signed up for positive reward based classes to get him started off on the best paw. Respectful children who can handle a jumpy puppy would be alright. He could live with a confident cat that can stand its ground and not run if chased. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to have another canine companion in his new home. He is still working on potty training and may need to be crate trained. He really needs a family that wont leave him alone for long periods of time. He is a very high energy boy who needs lots of exercise and playtime to be happy and healthy. He would love to go on long hikes and trips to the puppy park. If you are interested in meeting Dragon, please fill out an application. We will be collecting applications and calling back the most appropriate homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dragon, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
