My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome ✔ Mellow ✔ Lovable ✔ Furever Family...not yet. We made a list...we checked it twice...and it looks like we need your help in checking off our last item.

Folks meet Buck. He's a mighty handsome 6yr old Yellow Labrador and he's on a mission to find a furever home. Instead of finding himself "Home for the Holidays" Buck found himself dumped in a rural area. He was lucky enough to find help before the temperatures dropped and is now safe and warm in foster care.

Buck has a very easy going personality. He is great with other dogs, cats, kids of all sizes and of course grown ups. Buck has some mad skills as well, he can adapt to any situation he is needed in. He's an excellent cuddle buddy, for when you feel lonely. He puts electric blankets to shame, when it come to warming a bed for you and put your Swiffer Wet Jet away. Buck is completely house and crate trained, plus can clean up any "accidental" floor crumbs, before you ever reach for your Swiffer. smile emoticon:)

Do you think you can help us with marking Furever Family off the list?? If you'd like to bring Buck home and make him part of the family, please apply online at www.ruralanimalrescueeffort.org/adopt-foster

I am spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, kept on intestinal parasite and heartworm preventative, and microchipped, all of which is covered under my adoption fee.

Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications or for additional information. If you have any trouble, please email us at RuralAnimalRescueEffort@gmail.com

Please allow us at least 24 hours to respond, as we are a volunteer based organization with full time jobs in addition to rescue. If you do not hear from us within 72 hours, please feel free to email us at RuralAnimalRescueEffort@gmail.com to inquire on the status of your application.

**An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee**

**All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.**

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
