My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am FIV positive, but that shouldn't matter as long as I get to stay inside. I will talk to you and purr. Major Tom was trapped at a feral colony in Ontario, CA. When it was discovered he was FIV+ his rescuer couldn't return him to his colony, but also couldn't find a rescue or shelter to take him that wouldn't euthanize. She was a very tenacious person though, and after calling over 45 shelters in the state of California she finally reached FieldHaven. And of course we said yes!
The next problem? How to get him here. The rescuer researched driving herself and contracting with a pet transport company. But as it turns out, FieldHaven was receiving 17 cats from the ASPCA in Los Angeles that week, so Major Tom hopped in the big van for a free ride! Now he is here and looking for his forever home.
