Hey, Kirby here and I am still on the lookout for my happily ever after. No worries – Animatch promises that the next home will be my last. I was in a home for the past few months but now the family is moving to an apartment that doesn’t accept dogs. This whole thing had my head spinning but I am now settling in and looking forward to happiness in my senior years. Even at 9.5 years old, I have as much love to give as those chubby, cutsie-faced puppies. In fact, once you earn my trust I am one heck of a cuddle bug. Despite the fact that my last family let me down, I’ve never lost my love for people. I still like to keep fit, so walks around the neighbourhood with lots of stops to sniff would be good for me. I get along with other dogs but prefer the type who just want to hang out; no wrestling, chasing or funny business. I can be quite vocal -- especially when I'm alone -- so I need to pass on apartment/condo living. After some routine blood tests, I tested positive for Lyme disease – just another bump in the road. I’m on medication and showing no symptoms so I’m optimistic that the remainder of my senior years will be just fine. Love is what I have to offer and that’s all I ask in return.
